iWork or Microsoft Office?

which do you prefer?

i prefer iWork over Microsoft Office. don't get me wrong, i have used ms office for 3 years+ and i have recently tried iWork and it's so much better and easier to use that ms office any day. i feel you can do so much more with iwork than you can do with office.

what do you think? "tonight... we dine in hell!"

explain, don't type ms blow, iwork ftw! vice versa.

Re: iWork or Microsoft Office?

iWork all the way. I use it for all of my Documents. I compare them to people who made their document in MS Office and mine looks like it was done by someone with 50 years of Graphic Design experience.

Neither, OpenOffice all the way!

Re: iWork or Microsoft Office?

As I recall, it's under the "Video Games" category, and the section reads "PC and Mac". ;)

Re: iWork or Microsoft Office?

I like Office better, I'm waiting for the new Office for mac 2011, iWork just can't do as much as office, plus I don't really like the interface, takes too long to find things, I like how office changes menus depending on what your doing, you always have what you need at your finger tips. iWork isn't bad but office is just in a whole other level!

If you're on a Mac, you might also look into trying NeoOffice.

Re: iWork or Microsoft Office?

I'm all about mac and OSX...except for the iWork vs. MS Office.

I use Access and Excel extensively at work, I consider myself an expert at Excel and Advanced in Access. I don't think Numbers is anywhere near as powerful as Excel. And...iWork doesn't have a database application does it?

one (reluctant) vote for MS Office.
